Hurricane Ian Relief Efforts

Hurricane Ian Relief Efforts

We know all too well what it’s like to deal with the aftermath of a major hurricane. If you’re able to help our friends in Florida, anything you can do would be appreciated.

Baptist on Mission North Carolina is accepting donations of supplies, non-perishables, and money toward hurricane relief efforts at their local churches. You can also volunteer your time.

Keller Williams Realty has their KW Cares initiative, and they are collecting gift cards to send to Florida for displaced families to buy supplies they need. You can drop off gift cards or donations at the Keller Williams office on McCarthy Street in New Bern.

Morehead City Fire-EMS is heading up a relief drive for Lee County, Florida, whose county seat is Fort Myers, one of the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Ian. On their Facebook page they posted this message: Please help us support our friends in Lee County, Florida who are trying to recover from the devastating damages of Hurricane Ian. Lee County EMS was one of several strike teams sent to Morehead City in 2018 to help us during Hurricane Florence. Below you’ll find what they need and where to drop off supplies.

There are many organizations on site to help with hurricane relief efforts – if you wish to donate money, please be sure that you are working with a legitimate charitable organization. Here are just a few:
