Robbie Williams brought his signature energy to Australia’s 2026 Melbourne Cup, entertaining thousands of racing fans at Flemington Racecourse on November 3.
The British pop star headlined the event’s pre-race entertainment, performing some of his best-known songs before a crowd of more than 97,000 spectators. His four-song set featured Feel, Rock DJ, Angels, and Let Me Entertain You.
Williams made a memorable entrance wearing a sparkling suit decorated with horses. Dancers, musicians, and a marching band joined him onstage, adding to the festive atmosphere of one of Australia’s biggest sporting events.
The entertainment continued after the race when Williams returned for an extended concert at The Elms Live Stage. His performance included covers of songs made famous by Oasis, Midnight Oil, Shania Twain, and INXS.
The 166th Melbourne Cup also saw Point Of Law claim victory, while attendance reached its highest level since 2016.
Williams is now preparing to launch his BRITPOP World Tour in Adelaide on November 7, with additional stadium shows planned across Australia and New Zealand.
