Taylor Swift continues her success on the movie music charts, with her song “I Knew It, I Knew You” from Toy Story 5 holding the No. 1 position for the fourth consecutive month.
The track topped Billboard’s Top Movie Songs chart for September 2026, following previous No. 1 finishes in June, July, and August. During September, the song generated 40.5 million U.S. streams and sold approximately 7,000 downloads.
Released in June, “I Knew It, I Knew You” also debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100, where it remained for two weeks. The song marked Swift’s return to country-influenced music while contributing to the soundtrack of Pixar’s animated sequel.
Other movie soundtracks also performed well in September. Tame Impala’s “Loser,” featured in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, ranked second, while Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide,” included in Practical Magic 2, took third place.
The month’s top 10 also featured music from Steve Lacy, Bad Bunny, Oasis, King Harvest, and Bruce Springsteen, reflecting the mix of contemporary releases and established recordings appearing in films.
