Kids Say The Darndest Things

I showed our seven-year-old son this mini map of the world and asked him, “Do you know what this is?”
Son: “It’s a map, Daddy.”
Daddy: “A map of what?”
Son: “North Carolina?”
Daddy: “Nope, guess again.”
Son: “Callyifornia?”
Daddy: “No. It’s a map of the whole entire world!”
Son (somewhat alarmed): “The whole world?!?! That looks kinda small to be the whole world!”
Daddy: “Yep, over eight billion people live here!”
Son: (pauses): “Where’s the McDonalds?”
